From Enrolment to Graduation

Here is your complete post-admission journey at GIBMS — every step from enrolment to receiving your degree.

Your admission is confirmed, fee is received, and your student ID is issued. You receive a welcome letter, student ID card, and access to the GIBMS student portal within 10 working days of payment.

📚 Begin Your Programme
Access your digital course materials, faculty video lectures, online doubt-clearing sessions, and the GIBMS digital library. Study at your own pace — no fixed schedule or mandatory live attendance for online students.

📝 Assignments & Internal Assessments
Submit assignments and internal assessments as per your programme schedule. All assignment fees are included in your programme fee — no additional charges apply. Submission is via the student portal.

Examinations are conducted every 6 months (twice per academic year) — fully online. All examination fees are included in your programme fee. Re-examination attracts a fee of ₹750 per subject if required.

Results are declared within 45 working days of answer sheet submission. You receive a soft copy of your marksheet by email for proofreading. Upon your written confirmation, hard copies are printed and couriered to you.

Your Apostille-certified degree certificate is issued upon programme completion. It is emailed to you for proofreading. On your confirmation, duly signed, stamped, and attested hard copies are couriered with a tracking number.

Grading at GIBMS is based on the percentage of marks scored. The system is straightforward and transparent — what you see below is exactly how your result is calculated.

📋 Re-Evaluation & Re-Examination Policy
Candidates requiring re-evaluation must apply and pay ₹500 per subject within 48 hours of the release of final marks
No changes, arguments, or revisions will be entertained after 48 hours of the release of final marks — without exception
Re-examination fee: ₹750 per subject — applicable only if a re-sit is required to pass
Results are declared within 45 working days of answer sheet submission
Re-evaluation or re-examination results are final and binding

💡 Passing Criteria

A minimum of 40% marks is required to pass each subject. Students scoring below 40% in any subject are required to appear for a re-examination. Re-examination fees apply.

How You Receive Your Degree

Within 45 working days of exam submission. You receive marks for all subjects and your final result status.

Soft Copy Emailed
Your marksheet and degree certificate are emailed as a soft copy for proofreading and verification. Review carefully.

You Confirm in Writing
Reply by email confirming the details are correct. Once confirmed, no changes can be made to the certificate.

Hard Copy Couriered
Duly signed, stamped, and attested hard copies are couriered to your address. You receive a tracking number to monitor delivery.

Important: Review your soft copy carefully before confirming — the details as confirmed by you are final and cannot be changed after hard-copy printing. Physical courier charges may apply for international addresses. The digital/soft copy is valid for employer verification. Hard copies are printed on security paper, officially signed, and stamped. Apostille certification is included in your programme fee.
Convocation

Celebrating Your Achievement

A convocation ceremony is held periodically to formally celebrate the achievement of GIBMS graduates. The convocation is an opportunity to receive your degree in person, celebrate with fellow graduates, and mark the formal completion of your academic journey at GIBMS.

📌 Convocation dates and formats are decided by the GIBMS Management Committee and communicated to eligible graduates in advance. Participation in the convocation ceremony is optional — your degree is issued regardless of attendance.
