GIBMS Business School has achieved accreditation from The International Trade Council (ITC) — a global organisation with a mission to connect the business community, educational institutions, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and government entities through public-private partnerships.

The ITC provides essential knowledge, resources, skills, and guidance to its members regardless of their geographical location — helping them excel in international trade and achieve their professional goals. Their services cater to diverse cultures, nationalities, and sectors, guided by the core purpose: "Unite. Enlighten. Advance."

ICDE is the leading, global membership organisation that works towards bringing accessible, quality education to all through open, flexible and distance learning. It has collaborative partnerships with over 18 organisations around the world and a longstanding partnership with UNESCO dating back to the 1960s.

ICDE's work includes creating a worldwide network of online educators, policymakers, and innovators; publishing and contributing to reports on emerging topics in open and flexible distance learning; facilitating intercultural cooperation through conferences and summits; and campaigning for the global recognition of open and distance education.

ISO 21001 is the international quality management standard specifically designed for educational organisations. It aims to standardise education management to ensure it meets learners' needs — and is based on the widely-followed ISO 9001 quality management system. GIBMS holds ISO 21001:2018 certification from UKAF CERT Ltd (Certificate No. UK-02-G-97).

ISO 21001 certification ensures that education providers are offering the highest quality instruction available. In coming years, it will be increasingly recognised as the independent benchmark for education provider quality globally.

The UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported initiative — the largest organised relationship between the UN and management-related higher education institutions. GIBMS is a signatory member, committing to the six PRME principles: Purpose, Values, Method, Research, Partnership, and Dialogue.

As a PRME signatory, GIBMS embeds ethical decision-making, sustainability, and responsible business conduct across every programme — not as a standalone module, but as a thread woven through the entire curriculum.

The United Nations Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative — with 20,000+ businesses and organisations from 160+ countries committing to responsible, sustainable, and socially accountable practices aligned to the UN's ten principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.

GIBMS is a signatory to the UN Global Compact, affirming our institutional commitment to these principles — and integrating them into our governance, programmes, and institutional culture.

Established in 1954, the Bombay Management Association has pioneered efforts to enhance managerial effectiveness and improve the standards of business management in India for over 70 years. It is widely regarded as one of the best management associations in India, and has been awarded Best Local Management Award by the All India Management Association (AIMA) several times.

BMA is an independent non-profit entity that focuses on providing training, lectures, conferences, research projects, and development activities to enhance managerial effectiveness across India. GIBMS is a proud member institution.
